Buffy Holiday Cards!

Want to create your own Buffy cards to give to your friends and family this Christmas? All you need are the guidelines below, and a little creativity! Feel free to read what I did with my cards, and put your own ideas on them!

Card Style # 1: Layered Paper
For this card I used a two different colored pieces of construction paper (I used white and green), and a patterned piece of wrapping paper. I cut squares of the green paper and the wrapping paper and layered them on the front. I then printed off a picture of Faith from the Buffy Christmas episode, and glued it on. Lastly, I used a "Happy Holidays" stamp on the right side. I left the inside blank, as the paper is white already.
Another good idea for this card: Use Faith's quote, "Tis the season... Whatever that means."

Card Style # 2: Edges and Cutouts
I folded a light blue piece of construction paper into a 4-fold card. Then I used those fancy-edged scissors you can buy to cut out a piece of gold wrapping paper. I then used a snowflake-shaped hole punch to cut snowflakes in the gold paper, then glued it on the front of the card. I printed off a picture of Buffy and Angel in a snow-scene, and then I cut around the edges with the same fancy scissors, and glued it on the gold paper. For the inside, I used the fancy scissors again to cut out a piece of white paper and glued it inside. I used the snowflakes I had cut out of the gold paper and glued them inside as well.

Card Style # 3: Tissue Paper Silhouette
First I printed off a picture of Buffy and Angel walking in the snow in "Amends". I put another white piece of paper over it, and traced the shape of them onto it. I then coloured in their shapes with a black marker, so I had a nice black silhouette of them. I folded a piece of red construction paper into a 4-fold card, and in the very front flap, I cut a square out. I then glued the paper with the silhouette inside the front flap, so you could see it out the square. I then glued tissue paper on top (I used two layers of tissue paper). I unfolded the card and put glue on the inside and pressed it shut. Then I used a pair of fancy scissors to trim the corners.

Card Style # 4: Present with Ribbon
For this card, I folded a black piece of construction paper in half once. Then I cut out two strips of wrapping paper; one the length of the card, and one the height. Then I glued on the picture of Buffy and Angel in the snow, and made a bow with a piece of ribbon, and glued it on. For the inside, I glued a piece of white paper in so that you can write in it. I then cut two L-shaped pieces of wrapping paper and glued them on the corners.
